Jane Kamiti reviews her success in the stock market since completing the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Share Trading and Investment and the difference it has made to her life.
My journey started when the stock exchange opened in Kenya in 2005. I was buying and selling stocks based on broker recommendations. After moving to Australia, I attended a seminar with a brokering firm and after 2 hours I thought I knew everything I needed to day trade. And while I made money, I also lost a lot too. In 2008, when the GFC hit, I was trading penny stocks and I lost 99% of my money. But it wasn't until 2014 that I decided I really needed to get an education and I haven't looked back.
